Summer Recreation June 3 - July 29

Summer Recreation 2019 will begin on June 3, 2019 and continue through July 29 at many locations across Rutherford County. Please check the links on the right for locations in your area. Specific times for your community will be added before the end of May.

Recreation Sponsored Baseball/Softball

Rutherford County Recreation will again sponsor baseball and softball leagues across the county. Commissioner Brandon Bassham will oversee league play at Kittrell, Lascassas, Eagleville, Rockvale, Buchanon, and Christiana. Thank you Brandon for your hard work and dedication to all these communities. We would also like to thank the coaches, parents, and players who make this program so successful.

Eagleville Jr. Pro Football

County Rec sponsored Jr. Pro Football at Eagleville will resume with sign-ups and practices soon. For information aboutsign-ups, practice times, locations, and games, please check with Bruce Haley at Eagleville School.

Jr. Pro B-Ball Will Return in September 2019!

Rutherford County Recreation sponsored Jr. Pro Basketball will return to locations across the county in September. Please click on the Jr. Pro link to find out the nearest league in your area. Director Cates Retires

Ben Cates has retired as County Recreation Director after 46 years of service. We will miss his wisdom, guidance, and his wonderful sense of humor. Some of us will even miss his1983 Olds ("Ole Blue") that he bought new and is still driving.
